Notes: TAFC that dad purchased from Lou Gasperelli in Winter '82/'83. He was racing Les Davenport at CIR summer of '83 and pulled the chutes at the end of the run and nothing happened. CIR was 1/8 mile with a very short shut down and a hard left turn. If you couldn't make the turn you're option was a steel post or a huge catch net. Dad said he had the brakes locked up and the car was hopping violently towards the post so he pointed straight into the middle of the net. We needless to say the car was destroyed. I loved how this car looks, it makes me want to buy a nostalgia funny car and go racing!! Travis Liscombe |
