Notes: Del Worsham was at Pomona for the NHRA Winternationals, where he competed in both Top Fuel and Funny Car. He qualified the Funny Car, but he ended up as the first alternate for the Top Fuel field with a best of 4.924/296.15. He did not qualify at Arizona for the NHRA Quality Care Nationals where his 5.07/278.98 best was good for the fifth alternate spot. He also failed to qualify at Houston for the NHRA Slick 50 Nationals. He did, however, qualify the Funny Car in both of those fields. Worsham did not attempt to qualify the dragster at the NHRA Gatornationals where he had a bad fire in Funny Car qualifying. He was OK and was back behind the wheel of just the dragster at Atlanta for the NHRA Southern Nationals. Unfortunately, his 5.02/287.53 best was good for the third alternate. Del continued to drive only the Top Fuel car at the NHRA Mid-South Nationals where he was the first alternate with a 5.00/288.09. Also ran 4.949/294.31 at NHRA Topeka Fall 1994. Photo from 1994 US Nationals. Del left the team at the end of 1994 to go funny car racing with his dad again. |

Notes: Ritter started the '75 season at the fourth annual Irwindale Grand Premiere on Jan 5. He qualified #5 in the sixteen-car show and in the first round, beat Bill Carter with a 6.24/219.51. In the second round, a 6.34/189.47 advanced when Bob Noice broke on the line. In the semifinals, he lost to a holeshot 6.37/230 by Walt Rhoades with a quicker 6.31/226.13. He then went to Beeline for the AHRA Winternationals where he lost early in eliminations. The following week (February 2), Ritter was at Pomona for the NHRA Winternationals, but failed to qualify. Gary ran strong at Bakersfield for the March Meet. A 6.13/239.36 qualified #11 in the 32 car field. An opening round 6.16/239.36 beat Tom Toler's close 6.17/230 and in round two, he advanced when Rance McDaniel's Chevy failed to fire. In round three, his 6.09/234.98 stopped Dennis Baca's 6.19/231, but in the semifinals, his 6.20/223.88 lost to eventual winner James Warren's 5.87/235 low et of the meet run. Also in March, he went to OCIR for the AHRA Grand American West. There he qualified #5 with a 6.34/226.13 in the sixteen-car show. Ritter ran an easy 6.62/181.45 single in the first round, when Rick Ramsey lost fire on the line, but in round two he shut off early against Frank Bradley and lost. His next stop was at Sacramento in April for an eight-car show. Twenty cars were trying to qualify and Gary failed to make the cut. He also failed to qualify at Irwindale's Fox Hunt race. It was another eight-car show that had twenty-two cars attempting to qualify. Ran 6.0s at 239 at Indy. Number one qualifier at Seattle Fallnationals 1975 with his best times of the year. Also, ran 5.989/241.28 at Ontario World Finals 1975. |

Notes: Scott replaced Darrell Alderman after Darrell was suspended. First NHRA Pro Stocker in the 7.0s at Maple Grove PA 1992. | Scott started the '92 season by qualifying #5 at the season opening NHRA Winternationals at Pomona with a 7.21/192.02. Another 7.21 at 191.28 beat Joe Lepone Jr.'s 7.23/190 in the first round, but he slowed to a 7.29/191.08 in round two that lost to Warren Johnson's 7.25/191. At the NHRA Arizona Nationals, a 7.24/190.75 qualified #3. He beat Paul Rebeschi's 7.32/188 in the first round, with a 7.27/190.39, but in the second round, he got out of shape and crossed the centerline giving Jim Yates an easy win. The Pro Stock cars were flying at Houston for the NHRA Supernationals, and Geoffrion was no exception. He qualified #2 with a 7.17/192.22. Unfortunately, he fouled away a 7.18/191.16 in the first round, against Lepone. The next NHRA event was the Gatornationals. Scott set a new ET record in qualifying #1 with a 7.13. His speed on the run was 192.55. As well as he was running, once again he failed to make it past the second round. A 7.16/192.30 beat Frank Iaconio's 7.21/190 in the first round, but in round two both he and Mark Pawuk ran 7.19 (Scott at 191.81), but Pawuk got the win light. Rockingham hosted the Winston Invitational in April and Geoffrion qualified #2 with a 7.19/191.48. A 7.24/191.53 in the first round, beat Harry Scribner, but his second round rut remained intact when Don Beverley ran a 7.26/191 to beat his 7.31/189.55 in round two. After going no further than round two at the first four races, he made it into the final at the NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta. In qualifying it didn't look like Scott ran very well as his 7.30/189.55 only qualified #12. But he stepped it up by doing some great driving and cutting the lights. His 7.27/187.93 in the first round, beat Jerry Eckman's quicker 7.25/189. In round two, he faced WJ and the two had a close race with Scott's 7.27/189.11 beating Warren's 7.28/190. In the semifinals, he set Low ET of the meet with a 7.18 at 191.00 that beat Larry Morgan's 7.27/190. This set up a final round meeting with Don Beverley. It would have been a good race, but Geoffrion's car slowed to a 10.99/80.69 with problems giving Beverley's 7.20/191 the win. At Memphis for the NHRA Mid-South Nationals, he again made the final. He qualified #1 with a 7.23/191.85. A first-round 7.25/192.02 took out Bob Glidden's 7.30/190, while in round two a 7.30/190 beat Eckman's 7.41/187. In the semifinals, he advanced with a 7.25/190.92 when Morgan fouled against him. That set up a final round meeting between him and WJ. Geoffrion ran a good 7.31/190.03, but it wasn't enough as Johnson set both ends of the track record with a 7.22/192 for the victory. Still, two runners-up in a row was nothing to sneeze at for the Dodge team. The next race was the NHRA Springnationals in mid-June. Scott qualified #2 with a 7.26/190.15. He ran 7.28/189.54 and 7.31/188.87 to beat Lepone and Yates in the first two rounds to reach the semifinals. There he met Morgan's Olds. The two left together, but Larry's 7.31/189 beat the Dodge's 7.33/188.24. |

Notes: Mark qualified #1 at Pomona for the NHRA Winternationals with a 7.19/191.44. He beat Jerry Haas' 7.32/188 in the first round, with a 7.22/190.39. In round two, he lost to Jim Yates. At NHRA's second event, the Arizona Nationals, he qualified #13 with a 7.31/189.83. He ran an even better 7.24/190.71 in the first round, but it wasn't enough as he lost to Warren Johnson's 7.20/192. Mark ran 7.18/191.57 at Houston to qualify #5 for the NHRA Supernationals. A 7.27/189.87 beat Harry Scribner's 7.34/189 in the first round. In round two, his 7.21/190.27 just nipped Bob Glidden's 7.22/191. He got a break in the semifinals when Bruce Allen fouled away a 7.18/191, and Pawuk went into the final with a 7.22/190.47. His final-round opponent was Rickie Smith. Rickie had run three straight 7.23's to reach the final. Pawuk got the holeshot in the final, and his 7.28/189.83 got his first-ever NHRA Pro Stock victory over Smith's quicker 7.24/190. At the NHRA Gatornationals, he ran 7.18/192.34 to qualify #8. He improved to a 7.17/192.14 to beat Glidden's 7.18/192. In round two, his 7.19/191.16 took out Scott Geoffrion's 7.19/191. Unfortunately, in the semifinals, Mark fouled away a 7.19/191.44. The next stop was at Rockingham for NHRA's Winston Invitational. He qualified #10 with a 7.25/190.71, but his first-round 7.26/189.83 lost to Don Beverley's 7.22/191. He qualified for every NHRA race this year, and he almost broke his streak when his 7.30/189.71 just (#15) made the show at Atlanta for the Southern Nationals. In the first round, he stepped up a bit to a 7.29/187.30 to take out #2 qualifier Allen's 7.33/189. In round two, he improved again, turning a 7.23/188.99 to beat Lewis Worden's 7.31/188. However, he lost out in the semifinals when his 7.25/189.83 fell to Beverley's 7.21/191. He was close to the "bump" spot again at Memphis for the NHRA Mid-South Nationals, but his 7.31/189.75 held on for the #14 spot in the field. A better 7.28/190.23 wasn't enough in the first round, and he lost to WJ's 7.23/192. He qualified much smoother at the NHRA Springnationals, where his 7.30/188.44 got the #8 spot in the field. But once again, he lost in round one, when his 7.28/188.91 fell to Smith's holeshot 7.32/188. The NHRA tour then shifted to Canada for the Grandnationals. Mark qualified #5 with a 7.25/191.00, but for the third race in a row, he lost in the first round. Smith got him again. The ninth race of the season was the NHRA Summernationals held in conjunction with the Budweiser Pro Stock Challenge. At the Pro Stock Challenge, Mark ran an off pace 7.47/188 in the first round, that lost to Geoffrion's 7.33/189. For the Summernationals run the following day, Pawuk qualified #5 with a 7.27/190.19. His unlucky streak continued when another 7.27 at 189.83 lost to Paul Rebeschi's 7.28/190 in round one. |

Notes: Rare photo of the T-bird that was too long! After running the Probe all year, Rusty switched to the T-Bird after Indy. At the Keystone Nationals, he ran a best of 7.305/184.99 that was good for the eighth alternate spot. At the Sears Craftsman Nationals at Topeka, he was the second alternate with a 7.201/192.88 best. He also failed to qualify at the Chief Nationals, running a 7.265/190.15 best for the third alternate spot. Rusty didn't run at the World Finals. |
