Notes: Had this car for seven years. Found it in Sarasota in 5 inches of dust! Painted different. Garlits certified it as the last Flyer. Got the rights to the name from Frank Kramberger. Joe Siti's daughter also sent pics to me. The car is sitting on a trailer in Pennsylvania. I'm trying to get it back! It's gonna take some time and money to get it back. I ran it from 2001 to 2008. Lost it due to wife's illness. BP was in Bradenton the day Russ came up with the car with Eric Morrison at the Nostalgia nationals for the first time. Grew up in Englishtown, NJ, at Raceway Park. Moved to Sarasota in 1996. The car engine was a 427 alcohol injection. The car only ran low 8s. Joe Siti's daughter told me we both have the car tattooed on our right arm. My original pics were burnt in a car fire. I only did all my own work and driving. - Russ Herter, 1/24 |
