Notes: The car was originally the Paul Schiefer 1925 T roadster with Merc/3-speed/30s banjo. Schiefer changed the body to the '27 T, and later Bean Bandits made the car rear-engined. Later sold to Red Henslee, who partnered with Holly Hedrich, then Emery Cook. Car destroyed in drag strip return road mishap. |

Notes: Emery Cook - 9th over 150. July 22, Santa Ana. Also first with a production body vehicle over 150 - 150.31. Then July 29, Santa Ana, Cook took the world record from Replogle at 155.97. Two weeks later, on Aug 11 at Lions, Cook broke his record at 157.06. That set the world record. ET on that run was 10.680 - the next day at Santa Ana, on Aug 12, he broke the speed record again at 157.15 with a 10.28 ET.
