Notes: The Burt Brothers qualified #15 in the 32 car field at Beeline for the AHRA Winternationals with a 7.84. A 7.71 in the first round beat Jerry Bivens 7.89, but Wayne lost to Larry LaDue in the second round. His 7.44/210.76 at Pomona qualified #21 for the NHRA Winternationals. A first-round 7.36/209.30 beat Paul Sutherland, but in round two, he fell off to 7.57/205.46 in a loss to Jim Bollinger's 7.50/202. On June 3, the team was at Oklahoma for the NHRA Division Four race. A 7.52 qualified #6 and another 7.52 in the opening round fell to Leroy Goldstein's 7.35. |
