Notes: One of their last outings for their old roadster was at Davis-Monthan AFB on May 8. Earlier in the year, they ran 11.50 at 124 mph. Blackmore departed from the norm, designing a very unusual set-up with the supercharger mounted behind the rear end. The fuel was injected through the frame into the carbs on the front-mounted engine. He deployed a rear-mounted hydramatic transmission. Research was unable to find how it performed.
