Notes: Fedorowich qualified #6 in the 8 car field at the NHRA WWCS in Brainerd in May & faced #2 qualifier Denny Lucas in round 1. Unfortunately, Fedorowich's 6.98/189.87 was no match for Lucas's 6.69/209.30. Fedorowich attempted to qualify for the NHRA Quaker State Northstar Nationals in August but his 7.053/195.22 was the 2nd slowest in the field & was 7th Alternate.

Notes: Photo from 1985 Nationals. | Dennis did not race at the NHRA Winternationals, but he attempted to qualify at the Gatornationals. Unfortunately, his best of 6.72/203.06 was good for the second alternate for the sixteen-car show. At Atlanta, for the NHRA Southern Nationals, his 6.67/207.66 qualified #6 in the eight-car field. He hurt some parts in qualifying and was unable to run in eliminations. At the second NHRA Division 5 race at Brainerd on May 19, he qualified #5 which set up a first-round meeting with low qualifier Brian Raymer. Dennis' 6.79/207.13 finished second best to Brian's 6.58/208. The following week(May 26), he was at Baton Rouge for the NHRA Cajun Nationals. Once again he qualified (6.54/204.26) in the #5 spot for the eight-car show. That meant another first-round race with the low qualifier. This time Don Woosley had the pole and his 6.46/209 beat Forcelle's 6.62/202.79. On June second, he was at the NHRA Sportsnationals where his 6.59/208.42 qualified #14. A first-round 6.67/204.54 beat Bruce McDowell's 6.73/210, but his 6.68/205.01 in round two lost to Mike Kosky's 6.61/209. The NHRA's next race was the Springnationals. Dennis ran 6.59/206.51 to qualify #8. In the first round his 6.71/205.57 beat Al Dapozzo's ailing 7.92/127. The field was short so in round two Dennis got the "odd-lot" solo and ran 6.66/205.01. In the semifinals, Billy Williams fouled against him and Forcelle advanced into the final with a 6.72/203.89. His final round opponent was Bill Walsh who's slowest run in eliminations had been 6.63. In the final, Walsh got the victory with a 6.53/210 beating Dennis' 6.76/202.79. | At the NHRA Budweiser Summernationals in Englishtown, Forcelle qualified #6 with a 6.458/211.26 & faced #14 qualifier Jeff Richardson in Round 1. Forcelle would run 6.640/202.70 to Richardson's losing 6.771/202.42. In round 2 Forcelle would face #2 qualifier Bill Walsh. Unfortunately, Forcelle's 6.649/204.91 was no match for the eventual winner Walsh's 6.457/212.76. At the NHRA Quaker State Northstar Nationals in Brainerd in August. Forcelle qualified #6 with a 6.538/209.79. In round 1 Forcelle faced #2 qualifier Brian Raymer. Forcelle ran 6.454/212.76 in his losing effort to the eventual winner Raymer's 6.368/216.86. At the NHRA US Nationals, Forcelle qualified #7 with a 6.487/212.76 & faced #15 qualifier Tony Zizzo in round 1. Forcelle advanced with a 6.491/212.36 to Zizzo's losing 6.701/210.37. Forcelle's round 2 opponent would be #3 qualifier Charlie Bauer. Forcelle would run 6.497/211.56 in his losing effort to Bauer's 6.426/213.98.

Notes: Horner had the quickest Rodeck-powered car in qualifying at Gainesville for the NHRA Gatornationals. His 6.51/208.33 got him in the #6 spot. In the opening round, he beat Bubba Sewell with a 6.57/199.91. In round two, his 6.62/202.15 lost to Walt Rhoades' 6.38/214. He was at Englishtown in the first week of May for the NHRA Division One opener. A 6.57/210.03 qualified #3. He beat alternate Bruce Alken in the first round with a 6.60/206.18, but in the semi-final, his 6.62/206.42 lost to eventual winner Bill Walsh's 6.48/212. Only five cars showed at Cayuga's second NHRA Division Two race. Qualifying wasn't much of an issue, but Bruce ran 6.73/192.30 to qualify second to Walsh's 6.67/203. He improved to 6.66/206.18 in the first round to beat Bob Leverich, and he got the "odd-lot" solo in the semi-final and ran 6.67/204.54. He faced Walsh in the final, and once again, Walsh got the win. Early in June, he went to Beech Bend for the NHRA Sportsnationals. His 6.62/203.16 qualified #15. Unfortunately, he lost to Brian Raymer in round one.

Notes: Horner was the third alternate at Gainesville for the NHRA Gatornationals with a 6.48/208.81 best. He was at Englishtown in the first week of May for the NHRA Division One opener. His 6.63/206.42 qualified #5 and set up a first-round meeting with low qualifier Bill Barney. Bruce's 6.52/206.89 was no match for Barney's 6.29/218. Shortly after that, he was at Cayuga for the next NHRA Division One race. He qualified #3 at 6.70/204.08 and, in round one, defeated Babette Zavor with a 6.93/200.00. In the semi-final, his 6.76/193.13 lost to Bill Walsh's 6.68/207. Bruce was at Maryland International early in June for the fourth NHRA Division One race. It was an eight-car field, and his 6.53/204.54 qualified #7. In the opening round of eliminations, his 6.67/205.47 fell to Jeff Rapp's 6.55. Shortly after that, he was at Maple Grove for the NHRA Division One race. It was another eight-car show, and his 6.63/202.23 qualified on the "bump."He improved to 6.57/203.61 in the opening round, but it wasn't enough to beat Tony Lebor's quicker, leaving 6.62/200. The following week (June 28), he was in Canada for the NHRA Grandnationals. A 6.79/196.16 qualified #7. He had the only Rodeck-powered car in the eight-car field. But in round one, the little SBC-powered car of Dale Hall put his 6.68/202.29 on the trailer with a 6.52/207. Hall would go on to win the race. On the first weekend of July, he was at Suffolk for the NHRA Division Two race. John's 6.70/203.61 qualified #4. A 6.75/199.55 beat Don Fiorelli in the first round, but in the semifinal, eventual winner Walsh ran 6.52/209 to put his 6.67/198.23 on the trailer. Three Rodeck-powered cars made the field at Englishtown for the NHRA Summernationals. Bruce's 6.57/204.73 was the slowest as he qualified #11. His first-round 6.66/203.38 lost to Bill Barney's 6.32/215.

Notes: This car raced from 1985 to 1988. Ken ran 6.372/213.92 at NHRA Indianapolis, IN, on 9/05/87. The car ran a best of 6.266 at Dallas on October 2, 1987. That made it the quickest Chevrolet (non-Hemi) ever. Today it is still the quickest standard helix non-hemi ever. My good friend Mike Kosky came very close with a 6.269. Today all the cars use screw blowers, and the performances reflect this. Some stats of the car and team are listed above in the inset. The car had a 245-inch wheelbase and weighed 1810 lbs. The engine was a 437 cubic inch Rodeck big block Chevrolet-style engine. Ron Backman and Fred Mandoline created the billet heads. We ran both Gene Mooneyham and Mert Littlefield blowers. Power was applied to the Lenco transmission via an L&T clutch. The car had several innovative features for its day. The body panel you see in front of the wheels was the fuel tank. At the time of this car's construction, no other alcohol cars had fuel tanks in front of the front axle. 1987 HOT Rod Magazine "Best Engineered." 1987 NHRA Division 3 Champion. 1987 UDRA Champion (won 6 of 7 races). 1987 Most Professional Team Award Roger Gustin / Lava Soap (P&G). - Ken Lowern

Notes: The dragster was built for Ken Veney. Meyer bought and ran it for a couple of years, and it was sold to Jack Heslink. Jay was at Green Valley on March 3 for the opening NHRA Division Four race. He qualified #7 with a 6.76/198.23, and even though he improved to 6.67/200.44 in the opening round, he lost to Bubba Sewell's 6.65/205. Shortly after that, he was at Gainesville for the NHRA Gatornationals. A 6.63/206.13 qualified #13, but once again, he lost in the opening round. This time his 6.76/203.06 fell to Kirk Lawrence's 6.55/207. The following week (March 24), he was at State Capitol Raceway for the second NHRA Division Four race. Only three cars showed, and he ran 6.71/205.47 to qualify #2. But in the first round, he fouled away a 6.68/206.42 against Troy Buff. At the next NHRA Division Four race held at Amarillo on May 5, Jay set Low ET in qualifying #1 with a 6.72/209.98. He beat Mike Walker in the first round, with a 6.83/210.32, but he fouled away a 6.96/198.90 in the semifinal against the eventual winner Brian Raymer, who advanced with a 6.83/213. | At the Next WWCS D4 Race at Alamo Dragway 5/85, Meyer qualified #3 with a 6.83 & would draw #7 qualifier Mike Walker in Round 1. Meyer would win with a 6.96/196.50 to advance to the Semis & face #1 qualifier Kirk Lawrence. Unfortunately, Meyer's 6.92/211.76 was no match for the eventual runner-Up Lawrence's 6.71/208.81. Then at the NHRA 7-Eleven Cajun Nationals in Baton Rouge, Meyer qualified on the bump for the 8 car field with a 6.595/205.10 & Drew #4 Qualifier Bruce McDowell in Round 1. Meyer would get the victory after McDowell went red with a .291 RT & threw away a 6.556. Meyer would face #2 qualifer Billy Williams in the Semis & where this time Meyer red-lighted against the eventual runner up Willimas.
