Notes: The car was built and stored at Wagner Tool in Springfield, NJ, for a time. But my father, Ralph, was the car owner and made a deal with Larry to drive. The Dauernheim Bros., Bob and Al, were dear friends of my dad's, and the car was built next door to Wagner Tool at Dauernheim's. My father retired from Top Fuel in 1975, and Larry took over the car. Before Larry, Billy Curry drove my father's cars, including the front engine AA dragster Rainmaker and rear-engine dragster the Wagner, Deitsel, and Curry machine. | Larry did not run any NHRA national events in 1973. |

Notes: The story I was told that this was the second rear-engine dragster built. My father rented property to Bob and Al Daurenheim for the race car shop. My father had Wagner Tool Co. NExt door to the race car builder. |
