Notes: Bud built the Ranchero with proceeds from the sale of the Barracuda he won at Indy in 65 and used the HM-built 427 high riser topped with Algon injection and a C6 automatic provided by Ford. Bud sold the truck to John Casey of VT at the end of the 66 season, run as The Shaker. John added Hilborn injection and swapped the C6 for a four-speed. The truck was found in a field in Northern VT in 2018. |
