He qualified #2 for the eight-car field with a 6.34/219.51, but he got out of shape and shut down to 7.99/107.14 in the first round, and lost to Gary Blunt's 6.75/187. It was an eight-car field, and his 6.62/203.61 qualified #1. Court Durkalski failed to show for round one, so Dan ran solo with a 6.74/157.06. He got another solo in the semifinals as only six cars had shown, and he set Low ET with a 6.59/206.89. He faced Bogie Kell in the final, and the two had a close race, with Nimmo's 6.61/206.89 coming out on top over Kell's 6.65/209. Car sold to Burl Brown and became the Texas Justice. |
